Arthur Mafokate To Serve On Brand SA Board
President Jacob Zuma has appointed kwaito musician and producer, Arthur Mafokate to serve on the board of trustees of Brand South Africa.
Mafokate joins ten others who also feature on the list of names that was published by The Presidency website.
“President Jacob Zuma has appointed new members to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Brand South Africa Trust for a period of three years.
Brand South Africa’s key mandate is to develop and implement proactive and co-ordinated marketing, communication and reputation management strategies for South Africa, with the ultimate aim of contributing towards economic growth, job creation, poverty alleviation and social cohesion by encouraging local and foreign investment, tourism and trade.” read Presidency statement.
President Zuma’s move has been hailed by many who believe that Mafokate is in the best position to influence what Brand SA does.
